New Captain for Summer League

(Centennial, CO) - Forward Justin Barba was named captain of the 2007 summer season of the Titans Hockey Club while the team will play in the upper division of C-2. In naming Justin captain of the summer season, Andy Munoz is taking a break from hockey during summer so he can spend more time with his family. He expects to be back for the 2007-08 winter season and resume the leadership of the Titans.

Barba, whose ten assists last winter were third on the team, was assistant captain for the previous two seasons.

“It is an honor to be named captain of the Titans hockey team. The team has such a strong history and tradition; I hope I can continue the success and cohesiveness of the group.”

"This summer will take giant steps toward challenging for a league title. We brought in enough new talent to make a quantum leap in the standings but need to become a more cohesive unit overall to make it a reality," said the new captain.

"Justin is going to be a great captain. He brings a vocal presence to our locker room and bench, he is a caring and concerned teammate and he fully understands the commitment I expect from him as we work to take this team to the next level," said Andy Munoz.
